When Time Stood Stil

Dimensions80X70 MaterialsMixed media on canvas: graffiti spray paint, photographic print on Perspex (acrylic glass), 3D-printed elements, decorative stones, and gold leaf. SeriesMy Wonderland

In *When Time Stood Still*, the Queen of Hearts is reimagined as a contemporary fashion icon, where extravagance, power, and imagination meet.

Her heart-shaped glasses reveal two opposing symbols: a crown representing authority and a clock reminding us that time cannot be controlled. The melting clock beside her challenges the illusion of control, while her dramatic appearance reflects my fascination with fashion as an expression of identity and individuality.

Combining painting, photographic imagery, gold leaf, decorative stones, and 3D-printed elements, I create a layered world where fantasy extends beyond the canvas.

Even in her own Wonderland, the Queen cannot command time — but imagination allows her to see reality differently.
