I Choose light
I Choose Light was born from the emotions that have accompanied me over the past few years. On one hand, it reflects the ongoing sadness brought by the wars we continue to live through, the pain of loss, and the daily encounter with a difficult reality. On the other hand, it expresses the deep desire to keep living, to choose hope, to dance, to celebrate life, and to love despite everything.
The transition from the dark side of the painting to the luminous one symbolizes this choice—not to ignore pain, but to acknowledge it while consciously choosing light. The flowers, butterflies, and layered materials represent growth, renewal, and the ability to discover beauty even after heartbreak.
I Choose Light is a reminder that even in the darkest times, we can still choose life, hope, love, and joy.
