Music

This series of works is inspired by music and by the deep emotional connection I have with it. Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home filled with sound, rhythm, and melody, surrounded by a family of musicians. Music was always present — in the background, in the heart, and in the way we experienced life.

For me, music is soul. It is memory, healing, movement, and emotion. When I am sad, I listen to music. When I am happy, I listen to music. I learn with music, I paint with music, and I often feel that color and sound come from the same inner place.

As Madonna famously reminds us in song, music brings people together. For me, this holds a deep truth. When people listen to music, differences become quieter. We do not think about race, gender, status, or borders — we simply feel. In that moment, we are all equal, connected by rhythm, emotion, and a shared human experience.

My music-inspired works are created from this belief: that music has the power to open the heart, bring people closer, and remind us of what we have in common. I wish for a world that chooses more music, more connection, and more love — and less hatred, separation, and war.
